Dedicated to a Gallant Hero
To my readers, fans, friends, and family,
Final touches on “Charge of the Beast” are underway! Expect to see my 2nd novel this summer.
The family of a fallen war hero, 1st Lieutenant Phillip Neel, granted me permission to dedicate my book to him. Today marks the 12-year anniversary of his death in Iraq. Known as ‘Phil’ to family and friends, he passed from this life to eternity on Easter Sunday 2007. In his West Point graduation yearbook, he wrote: “I came to learn to serve. By God’s plan I was pressured, but not crushed; struck down but not destroyed. In His time, He will use me. Therefore, I have nothing to worry about because I know I am taken care of. I am grateful to have had this opportunity and a chance to use it for the future.”
Phil loved his country. He was a servant of God and lived his life for Jesus Christ. If you would like to learn more about him, the following two websites give compelling details. You will understand why it is an honor and privilege to dedicate “Charge of the Beast” to his memory.
Do you have a loved one who was Killed In Action? Please comment below or send an email to rosalie@rosalieking.com, and I will be happy to include them in the closing acknowledgements in the book.
